About the event
Visit our oyster farm and learn about our sustainable farming methods, oyster biology and ecology, and the maritime history of Southern New Jersey. The tour will include an oyster tasting, a shucking lesson, and an on-farm picnic prepared by Sweet Amalia Market and Kitchen.
Guests will walk about 700 ft from the beach to the farm across sand bars and areas that may have uneven train and knee-deep water. The tour will take about two hours.
